In a move which recognises bookkeepers' influence on Australian small business, industry peak body, the Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN), launches an industry-first partnership with insurtech BizCover.
The partnership gives bookkeeper members power to demand industry-leading insurance rates and commissions on Australia’s most in-demand business insurances for themselves and their clients.
The Australian insurance distribution platform, BizCover, has attracted over 120,000 business customers through a more efficient and transparent digital quoting service, which gives customers the ability to purchase cover instantly from any of Australia’s seven biggest insurers.
ABN Director, Peter Thorp, says the partnership signals the bookkeeping industry’s significance to key performance decision-making for small and medium businesses.
“Insurance is critical to protecting businesses and I’m pleased to launch this partnership that has Australia’s biggest insurers recognising how heavily businesses rely on their bookkeepers for guidance on important matters,” said Peter.
“Bookkeepers can now access better discounts for themselves and their clients, which is significantly valuable for ongoing client relationships and will support them to win more business in the future.”
Central to the partnership for ABN members are exclusive discounts on must-have insurances required for bookkeeping registration, including professional indemnity and public liability.
BizCover Partnerships Manager, Daniel Littledyke, says that through the BizCover Referral Portal, bookkeepers will now be rewarded for the loyalty they have shown for years on behalf of their clients.
“It is important for us to recognise and nurture the trust bookkeepers have shown us in referring their clients to our portal by offering bookkeepers the best rates and commissions,” said Daniel.
Bookkeepers can register as BizCover partners in less than a minute on the BizCover Referral Portal where they can redeem commissions or secure discounts from just one referral and up. Partners can signup their clients or send affiliate links to their clients who can then manage their own signups. Partners can track where their leads are up to and the commissions or savings they’ve earned in real time.
