Important announcement: The Bookkeeper Event!

Our signature event The Bookkeeper Event has been postponed for 2021. But will be back bigger and better then ever in 2022!!

We were recently reflecting on the number of Zoom meetings, Team chats, Webinars, Digital Summits, Virtual Events and the list goes on that Bookkeepers have been apart of over the past 12 months! Now with Brisbane going into a snap lockdown, again we are reminded of the looming presence COVID represents in our everyday lives.

We're hearing terms like "Zoom fatigue" or how much people want to connect again in a face-to-face setting rather than through a screen. We're sure you can all relate, but it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you all that our The Bookkeeper Event will not be going ahead in 2021. We couldn't take the chance of bringing you all to one place for a snap lockdown to occur and have you all stranded. But hope is not lost, the vaccine rollout is underway and there is a real buzz and hope for a return to normality towards the backend of this year!

The ABN team have certainly missed seeing all of you over the past 12 months, but we have a plan! We have every intention of making it to see as many of you as we can this year (COVID Permitting)! We can't reveal everything yet as we're still working through the details. But you can be assured there is no other Bookkeeping network in Australia that adapts to change as quickly and as well as the Australian Bookkeepers Network. In 2020 we pulled together and brought you a brilliant 5 day digital conference in the height of COVID-19 and we've definitely got something special in store for you this year!

So watch this space, stay safe, and rest assured that the ABN team is working on ways we can safely connect at events while learning and networking with our peers!

Stay Safe,

The Australian Bookkeepers Network Team
