New and improved: The 2015 Benchmark Survey

Many of you will already be familiar with ABN's annual Bookkeeping Business Benchmark Survey. However, this year, we've made a couple of changes to the survey that we think you're going to like…

First, we’ve streamlined the format of the survey—it’s now clearer and faster to complete than ever before. For example, survey participants who do not employ/contract staff no longer receive the questions pertaining to staff pay rates, etc.

Second, we’ve offered up a new incentive to complete the survey—a $500 Coles Myer gift voucher. Coles Myer gift vouchers are accepted at a bunch of places including Coles, Myer, Officeworks, Kmart, Target, Liquorland, and Vintage Cellars, so there’s no shortage of ways you could spend that $500!

One thing that’s remained unchanged from previous years, however, is that all participants who complete the survey in full receive a free copy of our final report. This report, which has no equivalent in the bookkeeping industry, is an indispensable tool in building and sustaining a profitable bookkeeping business. Among other things, the report will enable you to:

  • compare your business with others of a similar size, location and demographic
  • discover your business’s strengths and weaknesses
  • define benchmarks for improvement
  • gain a better understanding of the bookkeeping industry as a whole.

Well, I hope that’s given you some extra incentive to participate in our 2015 Bookkeeping Business Benchmark Survey. Here’s the link if you’d like to get started:

The survey will close on 11 October at midnight. As always, we look forward to reviewing the data and bringing you our final report in the coming weeks.
