ABN membership comes with a range of privileges, including access to our ABN Coffee Clubs — local communities where bookkeepers can connect — and bookkeeping events tailored to bookkeepers, including our biennial bookkeeping conference, “The Bookkeeper Event”. ABN Coffee Clubs, bookkeeping events and conferences are a great way to connect with other bookkeepers and BAS agents, keep up to date with the latest Australian bookkeeping industry developments, boost your bookkeeping CPE hours and build a professional network of like-minded friends, locally and across Australia.
View upcoming ABN events and conferences below, and subscribe to our events listing notifications to make sure you don’t miss out on bookkeeping events in your local area.
Looking for a fun way to increase your bookkeeping CPE hours? Join an ABN Coffee Club in your local area (or anywhere you like) and attribute that time (1.5 hours) to your CPE points. Our Coffee Clubs are held regularly across Australia and provide all bookkeepers with an easy and enjoyable way to meet your bookkeeping CPE requirements and keep up to date while meeting up with other bookkeeping professionals, networking and making friends.
Continuing professional education that meets the requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board is one of the conditions under the Code of Professional Conduct. As a registered bookkeeper, you must maintain a record of your CPE activities in case it’s requested by the Board when renewing your licence, or at any time throughout your registration period. Attending our bookkeeping events ( ABN Coffee Clubs) and conferences (The Bookkeeper Event) provides an opportunity for you to accrue bookkeeping CPE points, meet other bookkeepers, get out of the house and never feel lonely again!
