In A Nutshell
ABN’s Bookkeeper Intensives are interactive workshops delivered periodically around Australia. They usually involve groups of between 25 and 50 members. The format is either half-day or full-day, and enable ABN members to stay on top of key industry issues.

Coffee Clubs
In A Nutshell
ABN prides itself on having a real presence with its members. Our organised Coffee Club gatherings cater for small groups of between six to ten ABN members and their guests. Running for two hours at various coffee shops around Australia, our Coffee Clubs are a great way to meet the ABN team and other bookkeepers from your local area. In a relaxed atmosphere, we talk about what’s happening in the industry, how to get the most from an ABN membership and any other issues or questions that our members bring with them.

Conferences
In A Nutshell
ABN’s conferences are events not to be missed. Hosted biennially at different venues around Australia and running for two to three days at a time, they are a unique learning and networking experience tailored specifically for bookkeepers. Typically our conferences focus on both business building and technical issues. In addition to ABN speakers, we have a range of external speakers from the Tax Office, private enterprise and various ABN strategic partners. Our conferences deliver real value and also provide fantastic networking opportunities to our members and their invited guests.

Discussion Forum
In A Nutshell
ABN’s online Discussion Forum features dozens of lively posts every day from members looking for help with bookkeeping issues, seeking software specific guidance, sharing ideas on building a bookkeeping business, airing thoughts on industry related happenings or just wanting to chat with other members. The Discussion Forum is uncensored, although ABN does play a moderating role and provides technical backup where needed. The Discussion Forum has a true community feel and is very popular among our members.
Getting Started
Simply log-in to the Member’s Area of the ABN Website. In the left-hand pane, you will find a “Quick Link” to Discussion Forum. Click this and it will launch the forum in a new window. You can then choose from a range of different sections, each of which contains threads for a wide variety of topics.
